Balita Ko was the late-morning newscast of GTV. The successor to Balitanghali, it premiered on September 4 and ended on November 10, 2023, in which it was reverted back to it's original name.
Overview[]
As Balitanghali (2005–23)[]

The show premiered on Q on November 11, 2005 at 12:00 nn and it airs on QTV. Pia Arcangel and Raffy Tima as its first anchors, joining them in one noontime newscast.
After Q ceased airing on February 20, 2011, the newscast was carried over on its replacement network, GMA News TV .
On February 28, 2011, as Q rebranded into GMA News TV. It was also premiered on GMA Life TV in February 28, 2011.
On April 25, 2011, Grace Lee joined as the new host for the Star Bites. Lee left in 2012 and she was replaced by Luane Dy.
On November 10, 2014, Connie Sison was introduced to the newscast (after Pia Arcangel was moved to Saksi on GMA.) Dy left the show in 2017.
March 2020, the production was temporarily halted due to the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In February 2021, GMA News TV was rebranded as GTV, with the show being carried over to the said network.
As Balita Ko (2023)[]
On September 4, 2023, the show was renamed as Balita Ko.[1] On October 30, 2023, its timeslot was changed to 10:30 am to 11:30 am due to the It's Showtime early timeslot change to 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays. However, on November 10, 2023, for unknown reasons, the show was reverted back to Balitanghali.
